The aim of the study was to determine the relationship mechanisms between the economic growth and human development. The research used cross country survey research design. The research covers 40 countries, 10 countries from each of human development ranks. Multivariate multiple regression model is used to analyse data. The research found that there is a strong relationship between economic growth and human development. But the relationship is not perfect it starts after a country attained a certain level of human development.
