Uranium is considered as one of the natural radioelements for water pollution, therefore its removal from water resources for supplying healthy water for food and pharmaceutical industries is of great importance. This research is carried out to remove uranium from water by ion exchange process. It has been on the basis of the uranium solution preparation (synthetic), the anionic resin (Dowex and Amberlite) selection, determination of void fraction (%), optimum pH, capacity of resins, optimum contact time and absorption curve.
