Background: Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is the most common complications of pregnancy that spreading throughout the world and in the past 20 years has increased in range from 10% to 100% among racial groups. GDM cause to maternal and fetal side effects, and in the absence of treatment, it can cause macrosomia, respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, hypocalcemia, and hyperbilirubinemia in newborns.
