The detrimental potential of arrhythmia-induced cardiomyopathy

Here we discuss a case of arrhythmia-induced cardiomyopathy (AIC) with consecutive severe multiple organ failure. In relation to this imposing case, we discuss the significance of this potentially underestimated cause of newly occurred left-ventricular systolic dysfunction and concomitant arrhythmia.
