Advance Temperature Modeling of Solar PV Md Abdul Adud Shikder The low electrical efficiency of the mono-crystalline silicon photovoltaic module is a major drawback that reduces the competitiveness of solar photovoltaic power generation. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the improved efficiency by cooling of the mono-crystalline solar photovoltaic module with the prevailing winds in rural areas. The effect of the prevailing winds was determined by measuring the temperature of the mono-crystalline solar photovoltaic module using an advanced thermal model of the flat plate collector.
