QUIM--Quality in Use Integrated Measurement--is a framework being developed by the human-centered software engineering group and it aims to bridge the gaps between HCI practices and software engineering quality models for measuring quality in use or the user perspective of software quality. QUIM is based on the decomposition of factors into measurable criteria and metrics. Empirical rules for understanding and interpreting metrics are also included in QUIM. In this thesis, we identified and built a large, consistent repository of factors, criteria and metrics by surveying existing usability and software engineering quality models.
