This research is aimed at identifying factors that affect CASE tools usage by system developers and analysts. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) developed by Davis (1989) is used as the main building block. Certain modifications are made to the original TAM resulting in a final model that investigates the effect of four main factors on CASE usage. The data was collected electronically through a web site designed specifically for this purpose. The research respondents were Systems developers and analysts that have CASE technology available to them in their work place, but at the same time using it is on a voluntary basis.
