The algebraic continuous and discrete in constructing research tools and processing data in education

Hyperstructures is a relatively new field in the area of Mathematics, given that only in 1934 Frederic Marty introduced this topic at the 8th Congress of Scandenavian Mathematicians, with his paper: “Sur une generalisation de la notion de groupe”, where the first definition of the hypergroup was given.Subsequently, F. Marty published two more papers [78], [79] and at the same time, many mathematicians such as H. Wall [154], J. Kuntzmann [71], M. Dresher and O.Ore [47], L. Griffiths [53], J. Eaton [50] και M. Krasner [68], started working on this subject, publishing the first relevant papers. Different types of hypergroups were studied, like the 'regular' ones by Wall & Kuntzmann and the 'reversible' ones by Dresher & Ore.The hyperstructure theory is based on the classical theory of algebraic structures and therefore, just like in the classical theory there are numerous applications both in groups ομάδες [49], [118], [48], [56], [96], [84], [112], [113], [114], [115], [54], [55] as well as in algebra [36], [67], [68] geometry and binary relations [110], [107], [109].W. Prenowitz [91] was the first to work on the application of geometry on hyperstructures, initially alone and later in cooperation with J. Jantosciak, with whom he defined the Join Spaces [92], [93]. In their book “Join Geometries”, despite the fact that the word hypergroup was not mentioned, the so called 'Join Spaces' appeared as a category of Hyperstructures, which was then studied by dozens of researchers. One of the main features of the books main characteristic is that the authors tried to describe geometrical problems in an algebraic way.M. Krasner's contribution to the timelessness of the hyperstructures was crucial, as he and his students preserved the hyperstructures by working on this field for several years, and the progress of the hyperstructures is largely attributed to them. In the book 'Il mondo Krasneriano', [94] P. Ribenboim referred to the mathematical work of M. Krasner and how he started dealing with the hyperstructures. Some of the most influential figures in the field of hyperstructures, such as Stratigopoulos, Mittas and Koguetsof, were M Krasner's students.Krasner introduced the structure hyperfield, a structure where the addition is an operation and the multiplication is a hyperoperation. This fact 'obliged' the structure to have some basic properties, which led to the canonical hyperstructure, studied mainly by Mitta and continued by Corsini. P. Corsini's work on the hypergroups was initiated by Mitta's paper, 'Canonical hypergroups'. Because of the fact that the canonical hypergroup is a very 'close' structure, it led to numerous theorems and conclusions.The study of hyperstructures expanded beyond the hypergroups. M. Krasner introduced the hyperfield [69] and 10 years later he defined the hyperring, where the addition is a hyperoperation and the multiplication is an operation. A new definition of the hyperring, given by R. Rota many years later [95], renamed it multiplicative hyperring, in which, contrary to Krasner's hyperring, the addition is an operation and the multiplication is a hyperoperation. Therefore, Krasner's hyperring was renamed additive hyperring. C. Massouros [80] has also dealt with the hyperfields. The concept of the generalized hyperring was founded in [122] by T. Vougiouklis. This generalized definition includes both at the previous cases as special cases. He also defined the generalized hyperfield [126]. S. Spartalis also dealt with the hyperrings in his Ph.D thesis [6] and later in his studies [104], [105].In 1970 M.Koskas [66] introduced the β* equivalence relation. This relation was studied and developed extensively in Corsini's book, “Prolegomena of hypergroup theory”. This book [19] was the first scientific work on hyperstructures and equivalence relations, in which terms like closed were introduced. The β relation is the first attempt to connetct the hyperstructures with the classical structures. Besides Corsini, Freni and Vougiouklis also dealt with the equivalence relations. More precisely, 20 years after the definition of the relation β*, Vougiouklis defined the relations γ* and ε*, naming them fundamental relations [126], while D. Freni (in a paper of 1990) was the first to prove that the relation β* equals to the relation β for the hypergroups of Marty, solving an - up to then - unresolved problem.P. Corsini was the first to combine the hyperstructures with the fuzzy structures and introduce the Join Spaces in the fuzzy sets [17], [18]. Many papers have been published in the same area by V. Leoreanu alone [9], [74], [75], and in cooperation with Corsini [21]. The combination of fuzzy and hyperstructures opened new fields in fuzzy as well as in hyperstructures. Many Iranian mathematicians (Davvaz, Zahedi, Ameri, Borzooei, Hasankhani, Iranmanesh) have also dealt with the connection of hyperstructures and fuzzy structures.Equally crucial was T. Vougiouklis' contribution to the evolution of hyperstructures, as in 1981, he introduced P-hyperstructures [119], a generalization of P-hyperoperations also introduced by himself in his Ph.D thesis [3]. In 1990 he introduced the Hv-structures, a wider class of hyperstructures, which is the basic subject of the present thesis. A few years later, he introduced the -hyperoperation and by extension the -hyperstructures [137]. His book “Hyperstructures and their Representations”, published in 1994, has the Hv-structures and the Representation theory as the main topic.New structures that didn't exist in simple hyperstructures appeared in Hv-structures. The P-hyperstructures, for example became part of the Hv-structures, because they couldn't be studied within non-commutative structures. Due to the large number of Hv-structures that can be defined by a specific set of components, compared to the hyperstructures, began the study of the enumeration of the Hv-structures with respect to the isomorphism, i.e how many not isomorph Hv-structures exist. Many researchers, such as R. Migliorato, R. Bayon, N. Lygeros, C. Chaunier, B.M Choi και S.C Chung [81], [14], [16], [10], [11], [12], [13] worked on this topic, which remains open and needs computers in order to be solved.Therefore, because of the large number of Hv-structures, the question of finding their applications in problems within the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Economy, Biology and Social Sciences using hyperstructures, led to the publication of many papers on this topic.Besides T.Vougiouklis, the creator of Hv-structures, S. Spartalis [106], A. Dramalides [37], [38], [40], [42] and N. Antmpoufis also dealt also with the Hv-structures during their research each, connecting them with their respectve research interests [111], [108], [8], [44], [45], [43], [46]. A number of papers related to the Hv-structures have also been published by the Iranian mathematician B. Davvaz [24], [25], [26], [27], [28], [29], [30], who had a significant contribution to the research of hyperstructures, not only with his huge amount of papers, as well as with his books [32], [31].Besides the general theory of hyperstructure, the present thesis refers to the Lie-hyperalgebras. One of Hv-structures' application on Physics and Chemistry arose from Santilli's query ”Which are the hypernumbers?”, since he needed them to describe his theory on iso (isotheory, isotopy). In the same research, Santilli needed to study the Lie-Santilli admissibility, which he introduced in classical structures, while the need of describing the Lie-Santilli admissibility using hyperstructures, hyperrings and hyperfields arose. Within this search, the classical Lie-algebras were restudied in the light of hyperstructures. The study of Lie-algebras was conducted in the context of the representation theory. Since the early years when the Lie-theory was formulated, it had a wide range of applications on Physics and on Mathematics, a fact that over the years became more and more noticeable [57], [90], [52].The Lie-Santilli theory, introduced by R.M Santilli in 1978 [98], is a generalization of the Lie-theory. This new theory was initially named as Lie-theory of isotopy, but then it took its name from its creator R.M. Santilli. Besides Santilli [99], [100], [101], [102], this theory was also studied by D.S Sourlas & G.T. Tsagkas [117], [116], T. Vougiouklis [120], [134], [145], [143], B. Davvaz [34] and Kadeisvili [60], [59].The application of hyperstructures on the Social Sciences and especially on questionnaires, using the Bar, is also important, as it connects the hyperstructures with the fuzzy structures. Based on the hyperstructure theory, the use of the Bar in questionnaires has 2 advantages: An easier way of answering and secondly the different ways of data elaboration, based on the hyperstructure theory. The first advantage eliminates the time of data collection, giving the researchers the opportunity to have more questions in the questionnaire, and the second advantage provides the researchers with the possibility of different types of processing, improving the results and drawing to conclusions that was impossible with the classical theory.The main purpose of this thesis is the study of the hyperstructures through their applications in these two fields, on Lie-Santilli admissible hyperalgebras and on their use on the elaboration of data from questionnaires that use the bar.In the first chapter, we present the basic concepts and definitions of the hyperstructure theory. More precisely, the first paragraph includes the main theorems of the classical theory of hyperstructures, the definition of the cyclicity and the description of some classes of hyperstructures. In the second paragraph, there is a vast report of the Hv-structures and the fundamental relations presenting many details, accompanied by basic theorems and proofs. Finally, in the third paragraph there is a short description of the Representation Theory with some primary definitions.In chapter 2, we describe two big classes of hyperstructures: the -hyperstructures and the P-hyperstructures. Starting with -hyperstructures, we present some definitions and properties and then we continue by connecting them with the fundamental relations and the Hv-structures, as well as with the questionnaires that use the bar. Then, come the definitions and the theorems of P-hyperstructures followed by the implementation of the P-hyperoperations in matrices, introducing a new kind of P-hyperoperation, the P. In the next chapter, 3, we deal with the Lie-admissible hyperalgebras. In paragraph 3.1, we present the Lie-algebras of the classical theory, and more specifically the types An and Dn, as, in next paragraphs these two types are extended to the hyperstructure theory. On the following paragraphs some basic definitions, such as Hv-vector space and Hv-Lie algebra are presented, while subsequently we introduce the notions of Santilli's admissibility and the definitions of e-hyperstructure, e-hyperfields and e-hypernumbers. The last 2 paragraphs deal with the previously mentioned generalization of the 2 types of Lie-algebra, where theorems on the Lie-Santilli admissibility are presented along with their proofs.In the scope of the application of Hyperstructures in Social Sciences, in chapter 4, we describe the bar and its usefulness in questionnaires. We also present the software implemented within this thesis for the collection and the elaboration of the collected data from questionnaires that use the bar, and afterwards we present a construction where -hyperoperations appear on the bar. In the last paragraph a new hyperoperation is introduced, applied on the bar data, when the bar is divided on equal or equal-area segments (according to Gauss distribution or following different parabola). Finally, occasioned by the tables produced, we introduced new definitions and theorems.In chapter 5, there is an implementation of the hyperstructures and the bar on a real experiment that took place in the Department of Elementary Education of Democritus University of Thrace, while evaluating the lesson of Algebra of the first semester. The data collected with the use of the Bar were then elaborated with different ways, in order to highlight the usefulness of this tool, through clearer results.The present thesis is completed with the Appendix, which includes the questionnaire used on the experiment and the Matlab codes written and used for this thesis.Οι υπερδομές αποτελούν ένα σχετικά νέο πεδίο των Μαθηματικών, δεδομένου ότι μόλις το 1934 ο Frederic Marty εισάγει το θέμα αυτό στο 8ο συνέδριο Σκανδιναβών Μαθηματικών, με την εργασία του : “Sur une generalisation de la notion de groupe”, στην οποία δίνεται για πρώτη φορά ο ορισμός της υπερομάδας. Στη συνέχεια ο F. Marty δημοσιεύει 2 ακόμα εργασίες [78], [79] και ταυτόχρονα πλήθος μαθηματικών ξεκινάει να ασχολείται με το συγκεκριμένο αντικείμενο, πάνω στο οποίο αρχίζουν να δημοσιεύονται οι πρώτες σχετικές εργασίες από τους H. Wall [154], J. Kuntzmann [71], M. Dresher και O.Ore [47], L. Griffiths [53], J. Eaton [50] και M. Krasner [68]. Μελετώνται διάφοροι τύποι υπερομάδων, όπως οι regular} από τους Wall & Kuntzmann και οι αντιστρέψιμες από τους Dresher & Ore.Η θεωρία των υπερδομών αποτελεί επέκταση της κλασσικής θεωρίας των αλγεβρικών δομών, και κατά συνέπεια όπως και στην κλασσική θεωρία έτσι και στις υπερδομές, έχουμε πλήθος εφαρμογών τόσο στις ομάδες [49], [118], [48], [56], [96], [84], [112], [113], [114], [115], [54], [55] στην άλγεβρα [36], [67], [68] και στη γεωμετρία όσο και στις δυαδικές σχέσεις [110], [107], [109].Με την εφαρμογή των υπερδομών και συγκεκριμένα των υπερομάδων στη γεωμετρία, πρώτος ασχολήθηκε ο W. Prenowitz [91], αρχικά μόνος του και στη συνέχεια σε συνεργασία με τον J. Jantosciak, και ορίζουν τους Join Spaces [92], [93]. Στο βιβλίο τους “Join geometries”, παρόλο που δεν αναφέρεται η λέξη υπερομάδα, οι ονομαζόμενοι Join Spaces, είναι μια κατηγορία υπερδομών, που μελετήθηκε στη συνέχεια από δεκάδες ερευνητές. Χαρακτηριστικό του βιβλίου είναι ότι προσπαθεί να εκφράσει με ενιαίο αλγεβρικό τρόπο τα γεωμετρικά προβλήματα.Καθοριστική υπήρξε η συμβολή του M. Krasner στη διαχρονικότητα των υπερδομών, καθώς αυτός και η σχολή του 'διέσωσαν' τις υπερδομές με την ενασχόλησή τους με το συγκεκριμένο θέμα για πολλά χρόνια και σε αυτούς οφείλεται σε μεγάλο βαθμό η εξέλιξη τους. Στο βιβλίο “Il mondo Krasneriano”, [94] ο P. Ribenboim αναφέρεται στο μαθηματικό έργο του M. Krasner και στο πως ξεκίνησε η ενασχόλησή του με τις υπερομάδες. Μαθητές του Krasner υπήρξαν σημαντικά πρόσωπα στο χώρο των υπερδομών, όπως οι Stratigopoulos, Mittas, και Konguetsof.O Krasner εισάγει τη δομή του υπερσώματος, που έχει την πρόσθεση υπερπράξη και τον πολλαπλασιασμό πράξη. Το γεγονός αυτό “υποχρεώνει” την υπερδομή να έχει βασικές ιδιότητες, ιδιότητες που οδήγησαν στην κανονική (canonical) υπερομάδα, η οποία μελετήθηκε κυρίως από τον Mitta και συνεχίστηκε από τον Corsini. Η ενασχόληση του P. Corsini με τις υπερομάδες ξεκίνησε με αφορμή την εργασία του Mitta, “Canonical hypergroups”. Επειδή η κανονική υπερομάδα αποτελεί μια αρκετά “στενή δομή”, οδήγησε σε πλήθος θεωρημάτων και συμπερασμάτων.Η μελέτη των υπερδομών επεκτάθηκε και πέρα από τις υπερομάδες. Αρχικά λοιπόν, εισάγεται από τον M. Krasner η έννοια του υπερσώματος [69], ενώ 10 χρόνια αργότερα ορίζεται από τον ίδιο η έννοια του υπερδακτυλίου, στον οποίο η πρόσθεση αποτελεί υπερπράξη και ο πολλαπλασιασμός πράξη. Μια νέα έννοια υπερδακτυλίου εισάγει η R. Rota αρκετά χρόνια αργότερα [95] και τον ονομάζει πολλαπλασιαστικό υπερδακτύλιο, ο οποίος σε αντίθεση με τον υπερδακτύλιο του M. Krasner, έχει για πράξη την πρόσθεση και υπερπράξη τον πολλαπλασιασμό, οπότε ο υπερδακτύλιος του M. Krasner αποκτά την ονομασία προσθετικός δακτύλιος. Με τα υπερσώματα ασχολήθηκε επίσης και ο C. Massouros [80]. Η έννοια του γενικευμένου υπερδακτυλίου θεμελιώνεται στο [122] από τον T. Vougiouklis. Ο γενικευμένος αυτός ορισμός περιλαμβάνει τους 2 προηγούμενους ως ειδικές περιπτώσεις. Ο ίδιος, δίνει επίσης τον ορισμό του γενικευμένου υπερσώματος [126]. Με τους υπερδακτυλίους ασχολείται εκτενώς και ο Σ. Σπάρταλης στη διδακτορική του διατριβή [6] και αργότερα στο ερευνητικό του έργο [104], [105].Το 1970 ο M. Koskas [66] εισάγει τη β* σχέση ισοδυναμίας. Η σχέση αυτή μελετήθηκε και αναπτύχθηκε εκτενώς στο βιβλίο του Corsini, “Prolegomena of hypergroup theory”. Το βιβλίο αυτό [19] είναι το πρώτο σύγγραμα σχετικά με τις υπερδομές και τις σχέσεις ισοδυναμίας και στο οποίο εμφανίζονται νέες έννοιες, όπως η έννοια closed}.Η β σχέση είναι η πρώτη προσπάθεια στην οποία οι Υπερδομές συνδέονται με τις κλασσικές δομές. Πέρα από τον Corsini με τη σχέση ισοδυναμίας ασχολήθηκαν εκτενώς οι D. Freni} και T. Vougiouklis. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, 20 χρόνια μετά τον ορισμό της β* σχέσης, ο Vougiouklis ορίζει τις σχέσεις γ* και ε*, τις οποίες και ονομάζει θεμελιώδεις [126], ενώ ο D. Freni (σε εργασία του 1990) είναι ο πρώτος που αποδεικνύει ότι η β* σχέση ισούται με τη β για τις υπερομάδες κατά Marty, λύνοντας ένα ανοιχτό μέχρι τότε πρόβλημα.O P. Corsini ήταν ο πρώτος που συνέδεσε τις Υπερδομές με τις Ασαφείς Δομές και εισήγαγε τους Join Spaces στα Ασαφή σύνολα [17], [18] . Στον ίδιο τομέα δημοσιεύτηκαν αρκετές εργασίες και από την V. Leoreanu [9], [74], [75], καθώς και σε συνεργασία με τον Corsini [2]. Ο συνδυασμός των Fuzzy} και των υπερδομών άνοιξε νέα πεδία τόσο στα Fuzzy όσο και στις υπερδομές. Με τη σύνδεση των υπερδομών με τις ασαφείς δομές ασχολούνται επίσης και πολλοί Ιρανοί (Davvaz, Zahedi, Ameri, Borzooei, Hasankhani, Iranmanesh).Εξίσου καθοριστική υπήρξε η συμβολή του Θ. Βουγιουκλή στην εξέλιξη των υπερδομών, καθώς το 1981 ορίζονται από τον ίδιο οι Ρ-υπερδομές [119], που αποτελούν γενίκευση των Ρ-υπερπράξεων που ορίστηκαν στη διδακτορική του διατριβή [3]. Το 1990 εισάγει τις Hv-δομές, μια κλάση υπερδομών ευρύτερη από τις κλασσικές υπερδομές, βασικό αντικείμενο της παρούσας διατριβής. Λίγα χρόνια αργότερα ορίζει τις -πράξεις και κατ' επέκταση τις -υπερδομές [137]. Πάνω στις Hv-δομές και τη θεωρία παραστάσεων εκδίδεται το 1994 το βιβλίο του “Hyperstructures and their Represantations”. Στις Hv-δομές κάνουν την εμφάνισή τους διάφορες δομές, που δεν υπήρχαν στις απλές υπερδομές. Οι P-υπερδομές, για παράδειγμα, εντάσσονται στις Hv, γιατί δεν μπορούσαν να μελετηθούν σε μη αντιμεταθετικές δομές. Επειδή το πλήθος των Hv που ορίζονται, σε σχέση με τις υπερδομές, είναι τεράστιο για ένα σύνολο συγκεκριμένων στοιχείων, αρχίζει και η μελέτη της απαρίθμησης των Hv “ως προς τον ισομορφισμό”, δηλαδή πόσες Hv δομές υπάρχουν που να μην είναι ισόμορφες. Με το θέμα αυτό ασχολήθηκαν οι R. Migliorato, R. Bayon, N. Lygeros, C. Chaunier, B.M Choi και S.C Chung [81], [14], [16], [10], [11], [12], [13], θέμα που απασχολεί μέχρι και σήμερα και αποτελεί μια εργασία, η οποία απαιτεί χρήση ηλεκτρονικών υπολογιστών. Εξαιτίας λοιπόν του μεγάλου πλήθους των Hv-δομών ανοίγει το θέμα εύρεσης εφαρμογών, με την έννοια να εκφραστούν προβλήματα Φυσικής, Χημείας, Οικονομίας, Βιολογίας και Κοινωνικών Επιστημών με τις υπερδομές και σε αυτήν την κατεύθυνση δημοσιεύονται αρκετές εργασίες.Με τις Hv-δομές, πέρα από τον εμπνευστή τους Θ. Βουγιουκλή, ασχολούνται επίσης κατά το ερευνητικό τους έργο οι Σ. Σπάρταλης [106], Α. Δραμαλίδης [37], [38], [40], [42] και Ν. Ανταμπούφης, συνδέοντας τις Hv-δομές με το πεδίο ερευνητικού ενδιαφέροντος του καθενός [111], [108], [8], [44], [45], [43], [46]. Πλήθος εργασιών σχετικά με τις Hv-δομές έχουν δημοσιευτεί και από τον Ιρανό μαθηματικό B. Davvaz [24], [25], [26], [27], [28], [29], [30], με πολύ σημαντική συνεισφορά τα τελευταία χρόνια στην έρευνα σχετικά με τις υπερδομές, τόσο με τον μεγάλο όγκο των εργασιών του, όσο και με τα σχετικά του συγγράμματα [32], [31].Πέρα όμως από τη γενικότερη θεωρία των υπερδομών, η παρούσα Διδακτορική Διατριβή ασχολείται και με τις Lie-υπεράλγεβρες. Μία από τις εφαρμογές των Hv-δομών στη Φυσική και στη Χημεία προέκυψε από το ερώτημα του R.M Santilli “ποιοι είναι οι υπεραριθμοί (hypernumbers);”, οι οποίοι ήταν απαραίτητοι για να εκφράσει τη θεωρία του πάνω στα iso (isotheory, isotopy). Στην ίδια αναζήτηση ο Santilli χρειάστηκε να μελετήσει τη Lie-Santilli admissibility, την οποία εισάγει στις κλασσικές δομές, ενώ δημιουργείται η ανάγκη να εκφραστεί και στις υπερδομές, υπερδακτυλίους και υπερσώματα. Στα πλαίσια αυτής της αναζήτησης ξαναμελετώνται οι κλασσικές Lie-άλγεβρες υπό το πρίσμα των υπερδομών. Η μελέτη αυτή των Lie-αλγεβρών γίνεται στα πλαίσια της θεωρίας παραστάσεων. Από τα πρώτα χρόνια που διατυπώθηκε, η Lie θεωρία είχε μεγάλο εύρος εφαρμογών στη Φυσική και στα Μαθηματικά, γεγονός που με το πέρασμα των χρόνων γινόταν όλο και πιο αισθητό [57], [90], [52].Γενίκευση της Lie θεωρίας αποτελεί η Lie-Santilli θεωρία, την οποία εισήγαγε ο R.M Santilli το 1978 [98]. Η θεωρία αυτή αρχικά ονομάστηκε Lie θεωρία των isotopy, ενώ στη συνέχεια πήρε το όνομά της από τον δημιουργό της, R.M Santilli. Με τη Lie-Santilli θεωρία, πέρα από τον Santilli [99], [100], [101], [102] ασχολήθηκαν και οι D.S Sourlas & G.T. Tsagkas [117], [116], o T. Vougiouklis [120], [134], [145], [143], B. Davvaz [34], καθώς και ο Kadeisvili [60], [59].Σημαντική όμως είναι και η εφαρμογή των υπερδομών στον τομέα των Κοινωνικών Επιστημών, στα ερωτηματολόγια, με την εισαγωγή της Ράβδου, η οποία συνδέει τις Υπερδομές με τις Ασαφείς δομές.Στα ερωτηματολόγια με την εισαγωγή της Ράβδου από τους T. Vougioukli & P. Vougioukli εμφανίζονται 2 πλεονεκτήματα: Πρώτον, η ευκολότερη απάντηση και δεύτερον οι πολλοί τρόποι επεξεργασίας των δεδομένων, γνωρίζοντας τη θεωρία των υπερδομών. Το πρώτο πλεονέκτημα ελαττώνει το χρόνο απάντησης των ερωτηματολογίων, δίνοντας το δικαίωμα αύξησης των ερωτήσεων στα ερωτηματολόγια ενώ το δεύτερο πλεονέκτημα δίνει περισσότερους τρόπους επεξεργασίας, βελτίωσης των συμπερασ
