The thesis focuses on the study of factors associated with the duration of university studies taking into account the specificities of the Greek university education. The thesis is organized in two parts in theoretical and empirical orientation respectively. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the development of a theoretical-methodological framework/model for approaching and interpreting factors associated with the duration of studies, while on the second part the assumptions of the above framework are tested empirically on data from an Athenian University.More specifically, on the first part, of the thesis a typology of ways of student’ adaptation to the university environment/graduation typology is defined, in order to describe th...
