Trabajo Fin de Master Curso 2015/2016[EN] The objective of the present study is to establish the gender differences in students´ self-efficacy beliefs and their influence on the professional decision making. A systematic review of scientific papers, after the year 2004, using quasi-experimental, qualitative and quantitative methodology carried out. The databases consulted were SpringerLink, WOK and Dialnet. Nine articles were selected which better fit the objectives. The results suggest that there were gender differences in mathematical self-efficacy, girls have lower self-efficacy than boys, even though there were no differences in performance between them.
