Abstract

Lasers have invaded in our life and in some cases, such as in medical applications, have caused dramatic and many times revolutionary results. The successful application of laser technology in medicine is often the basis for the application of this technology, in art conservation too, particularly in which and where "surgical precision” is required. A lot of knowledge on the interaction of a laser beam with human tissues has found use in the maintenance artworks of history and culture.
