The present dissertation addresses the problem of the polymerization reactor control. In the contemporary, highly competitive environment, the control field has a special meaning for the polymer manufacturers and a wider content. Nowadays, apart from the classical control elements (measurement devices, control valves, controllers etc.), a control system comprises an optimization and estimation scheme, whereas it uses a mathematical model of the process. In this broadened content, the polymerization control problem was dealt in the present study.
