United Nations peacekeeping operations, 1990-2000, introducing a human-centric normative framework

Κυρίως όμως αποκαταστάθηκε η αξιολογική τάξη στο πεδίο του Καταστατικού Χάρτη των Ηνωμένων Εθνών. Η ανάδυση παραγκωνισμένων αξιών ως αναγκαία σύστοιχα της διεθνούς ειρήνης και ασφάλειας και η αναγνώριση της προτεραιότητας του ατόμου σε σχέση με το κράτος συνιστούν μια σημαντική μετάβαση, η οποία εμπεδώνεται και κατανοείται μέσα από τις ειρηνευτικές επιχειρήσεις των Ηνωμένων Εθνών. Οι τελευταίες λειτουργούν ως συναινετικό ή/και εξαναγκαστικό όχημα προκειμένου να εμπεδωθεί η διεθνής ειρήνη και δικαιοσύνη και συμβάλλουν ώστε η έννομη τάξη των Ηνωμένων Εθνών να κατατείνει στην άνευ προηγουμένου δικαιοπαραγωγή ενός περισσότερο ανθρωποκεντρικού κανονιστικού πλαισίου στις διεθνείς σχέσεις
