With its starting point in 1967 East Jordan, this film relates the history leading to the creation of a semi-permanent refugee population in the Middle East, as camps intended to be temporary solutions turn into permanent settlements. Further documenting the outlook of refugees, among others the film features an interview with a three-time refugee, who is once again attempting to rebuild his life amid the violence and chaos of the region. The film also discusses the work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, UNRWA, as the organization attempts to assist with the creation of educational and employment programs for the displaced populations.
