Advertising flier promoting a concert by the California-based punk band, Black Flag. The concert occurred on October 18, 1984 at the Wilson Center in Washington, D.C. The opening bands were Saccharine Trust and Tom Troccoli's Dog (listed here as Tom Troccoli & His Dog), both of whom were California punk bands on tour with Black Flag. The flier also contains information on another upcoming concert at the Wilson Center on November 9, 1984 that would feature the California punk band TSOL, along with D.C. punk bands Government Issue and Marginal Man. The flier's verso includes a handwritten message to its recipient -- D.C. artist and musician Sharon Cheslow -- asking her to "help us spread the word" about the concert
