Using the "Housing First/Harm Reduction" model (getting people into affordable housing first, and then addressing other issues they may have, such as mental illness, chemical dependency, or other barriers to stable housing) St. Stephen’s Human Services runs five programs to End Long-Term Homelessness. The project created survey questions, designed a database for data collection (which will also be used for on-going data collection), organized the data and made a preliminary summary of the data from 215 people who participated in these programs between September 1, 2005 and December 31, 2010.Funded by a Communiversity Personnel Grant from the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA), University of Minnesota
