The human being in the Holy Qur'an (a psychological approach)

This work is devoted to a new understanding of the human being. It is a study which aims to show an understanding of the human being as human in all his aspects. This thesis consists of an introduction, two parts and a conclusion. The introduction indicates the main motives that lie behind choosing this work as a subject for research. The first part is devoted to the issue of understanding the human being, and contains four chapters. The first deals with a human analysis of the human being. The second chapter points out the ways in which Allah honours the human being. The third chapter highlights the components of the human being and his stages of development as referred to in the Holy Qur'an. The fourth chapter deals with the human personality. The second part is assigned to the subject of spiritual sickness, as shown in the Holy Qur'an, and its cure. This part contains four chapters. The first gives examples of these disorders as shown in the Holy Qur'an and their treatments. The second chapter identifies general treatment in the Holy Qur'an. The third chapter pursues spiritual insights in the Holy Qur'an. The last chapter shows the way to spiritual health. Finally, the conclusion presents the findings of this research
