This paper has two aims. The first goal is to review the research trends of the United States in by looking at the following three questions: 1. What level of socioeconomic status women are undergoing infertility treatment, 2. How do women’s preferences and behaviors change when insurance applies to Assisted Reproductive Technology, 3. How should we evaluate “oocyte cryopreservation” from the perspective of reproductive health/rights. The second goal is to consider what these research trends suggest for Japan.
