Don Draper is known as an antihero, but it seems he should be considered something even worse. This paper explores the ways in which AMC’s critically acclaimed series, Mad Men uses stylized flashbacks to garner admiration and support for a man who is constantly misled by his moral compass. He cheats on his wives, abandons his children, and schemes his way out of trouble at work, but is still viewed as a beloved character.
