Les péricytes sont des cellules contractiles qui s'enroulent le long des parois des capillaires. Dans le cerveau, les péricytes jouent un rôle crucial dans la régulation du diamètre capillaire et du débit sanguin vasculaire en réponse à la demande métabolique.
