Magister Public Health - MPHIntroduction: The control of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is pivoted on adherence to a healthy lifestyle (healthy diet, physical activity and non-smoking). Zimbabwe reports a high burden of T2DM related complications suggesting an increased inability by patients to control their blood glucose levels. This study, therefore, sought to describe the healthy lifestyle practices of T2DM patients in Harare, Zimbabwe and associate these practices with their glycated haemoglobin (HBA1C) levels, a marker for the control of diabetes.
