The effect of different factors on indoor radonThe impact of physical and meteorological factors on the rate of radon entry into a building were examined using linear regression analysis in seven houses with mechanical supply and exhaust ventilation. Explanatory factors were the indoor-outdoor pressure difference, the indoor-outdoor temperature difference, the wind direction and speed and, in two cases, changes in barometric pressure and rain. The coefficient of determination of the measured factors was not very high because the concentration and movement of radon in the soil is affected by several other factors.
