As the population of the elderly is growing rapidly worldwide, elderly care policy has been transformed with the changing policy environment. Public supports are necessary for family care-givers to alleviate their difficulties in family care-giving. There are country-specific differences in the way that the states have rearranged to support family care-givers and to invest in public or formal arrangements according to their cultural differences.
