El célebre personaje de Samuel Beckett, Estragón, sufrió varios cambios desde la publicación de la edición de Faber de Waiting for Godot en 1965 hasta su representación en Berlín en 1975. Estos cambios salieron a la luz en The Theatrical Notebooks of Samuel Beckett: Waiting for Godot, editado por Dougald McMillan y James Knowlson.
