Families of children with hearing loss must make a number of decisions during the transition from diagnosis of hearing loss to enrolment in early intervention, and thus require a wealth of information and support. This study aimed to investigate families' needs during this period, and explore how these needs might differ for families of children with hearing loss who have additional disabilities.An exploratory qualitative study incorporating semi-structured in-depth interviews and thematic analysis was used.
