This paper describes a study done of the relationship between library-provided faculty research services and faculty productivity at American Bar Association accredited law schools. The study consisted of a survey of law school librarians of faculty usage of faculty research services and the gathering of publicly available information for lists of published law journal articles, U.S. News & World Report rankings, and faculty size. Ultimately, 54 law schools were included in the study. Faculty productivity, both unweighted and weighted by prestige, was compared with the frequency and percentage of faculty using faculty research services, U.S. News & World Report law school rankings, and faculty size.
