This project examined the bibliographic annotations made by the Parisian book dealer and noted Russian Diaspora collector André Savine. He made annotations of bibliographic and biographic information on index cards and notebook pages for the holdings of his bookstore and private collection. His annotations included citations that referred to the reference works that he used to research his acquisitions. The citations were generally abbreviated and of various levels of completeness. The goal of this project was to produce a bibliography of the reference sources used by Savine. To do this, each citation was examined and researched using WorldCat and the André Savine Collection at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
