The purpose of this paper is to reinforce the need for institutional level policy interventions on college campuses; outline model programs and provide resources for best practices for implementing comprehensive campus-based tobacco policies and programs; and discuss the components of North Carolina's comprehensive statewide tobacco prevention and education initiative aimed at young adults.
