The purpose of this paper is to analyze and assess the reporting of violence against health care by international organizations and media. It will examine how violence against health care is underestimated due to the incomplete, inaccurate, irregular reporting and biased. Review of the literature and reports indicates that the levels of attacks on the health care system in armed conflicts and civil disturbances are underestimated and unacceptable by any standard. This paper aims to enhance the efforts to protect health care in these situations.
