THREE GENETICALLY INFORMED SOCIOLOGICAL STUDIES ON DATA QUALITY CONTROL, DELINQUENCY, AND RELIGIOSITY

In this dissertation, I use molecular genetic data to conduct three sociological studies. In the first study, genetic information is used to improve the quality of self-reported familial relationships such as twins and full siblings, race, and gender. In the second study, I examine whether marriage moderates genetic effects for delinquency. In the third study, I examine whether risk and genetic risk can explain the gender gap in religiosity.Doctor of Philosoph
