Différentes méthodes de synthèses ont été mises au point pour contrôler la forme et la composition des nanoparticules. L’effet de la nature et la concentration des surfactants, des solvants, la température et le temps de synthèse a également été étudié. Les poudres ont été caractérisées par diffraction des rayons X et microscopie électronique à transmission, couplée à la spectroscopie d'énergie dispersive.
