These diplomatic accounts embody a modern and friendly kind of public diplomacy that renews the genre of propaganda. They may be perceived as such by international public and political leaders. Beijing may continue to rely on self-censorship mechanisms and censorship devices that frame and prescribe perfectly smooth and harmonious Chinese diplomatic discourses.
