This thesis is dedicated to the study of some aspects of the verbal morphology of Berber within the framework of government phonology. It contributes to the study of the architecture of templates. It aims at demonstrating that the squeletal level of the phonological representations has an autonomous and independent morphological activity from the segmental level and argues in favor of the existence of templatic sites where particular morphological operations take place.
