AbstractThe purpose of this investigation is to study the effectiveness of cognitive group therapy on decreasing the symptoms of depression among students.therefore, twelve students were randomly selected and under went cognitive therapy for twelve sessions. The results of the study indicated that cognitive therapy is effective in reducing the symptoms of depression
