AbstractThe article discusses the scientific and methodological basis of use of the electronic textbooks and virtual laboratory works in the formation of an applied orientation in students. If you hold a physical experiment and frontal laboratory works using virtual models and electronic books via computer, then you can compensate the lack of equipment in the physics laboratory, and thus, to teach students to produce their own physical knowledge in physics experiment on virtual models; it is a real possibility to create the necessary applied orientation to students and raise the level of students in physics.
