The Effects of Teachers’ Attitudes on Anxiety and Academic Performances

AbstractThis paper is meant to show the anxiety effects on school activity. There were a number of 80 students that were involved in this research. The procedure aimed to identify students under stress effects, highlighting the influence of stress on students and how it affects their performance. The main hypothesis of this study is that if the anxiety level increases, than the school results are lower. For testing the hypothesis of this research we used the STAI questionnaire and an instrument built by us in order to observe threatening attitudes. After there was made a preliminary test for verifying the correlation between threatening attitudes and anxiety we performed a t test for independent samples for testing the effect of the anxiety on performance. The differences were confirmed, so we’ve concluded that anxiety have a significant effect on school performances
