AbstractA 55year old male presented with abdominal pain and vomiting, followed by a sudden onset of left eye pain, with decreased visual acuity. After clinical and laboratory examinations, the patient was diagnosed with endogenous endophthalmitis, secondary to pyogenic liver abscess, secondary to Klebsiella pneumonia.The patient was managed with intravitreal injection of vancomycin and ceftazidime for 2weeks, which afforded a resolution.Cases of endogenous endophthalmitis pyogenic liver abscess are more commonly reported in the Far East.
