AbstractObjectives.This study sought to determine whether early after-depolarization-induced triggered activity is responsible for the initiation of ventricular arrythmias in dogs with an inherited predisposition to sudden death.Background.We have identified a colony of German shephered dogs that display inherited ventricular ectopic activity and sudden cardiac death.
