AbstractReduction of CO2 emissions is regarded as necessary to limit the consequences of increased CO2 in the atmosphere. Carbon capture and storage will play an integral part in future reduction of CO2 emissions together with energy optimization. Development of an efficient CCS infrastructure is the key to reaching proposed emission goal. In the current project the focus is on CO2 emissions in the Skagerrak-Kattegat region. The project encompasses all aspects of CCS, but in this article the focus is on CO2 transport infrastructure. Different infrastructure scenarios are proposed and costs are compared. This will be an iterative process and a final recommendation will be given by the end of the project period. Preliminary results will be pr...
