AbstractThe purpose of the paper is to present the results of the evaluation of a textbook for teaching Romanian as a foreign language from the students’ perspective. We started our research from the key assumption that this type of assessment can provide useful information in Romanian language teaching and help teachers to improve teaching materials.Following the administration of an evaluation grid, which included five sections, quantitative data were analyzed and were interpreted.Regarding the students’ opinions, it was noticed that most participants indicated that the topics included in the textbook are presented in a logical and organized manner.
