Two results on the correction of multiple bursts of errors are presented. In Section II, a theorem is given which increases the feasibility of correcting such errors in codes over GF(2) by constructing cyclic codes of a given weight. In Section III, a method is given for constructing quasi-cylic codes over GF(pk) which will correct multiple bursts of errors
