AbstractThe paper represents an invitation to “twisting”, a recall of the analytical thinking towards an impressive domain from the standpoint of the ideative dynamics, the pedagogical Romanian thinking of the 1890-1950 period. The central subject of this discourse is represented by the teaching principles as they were expressed by the most outstanding thinkers in the domain such as Borgovan, Gavanescul, Pipos, Teodosiu, Brandza, Barsanescu, Antonescu.
