AbstractThe present research purpose is to assess the effectiveness of sexual skills in the improvement of sexual function, sexual satisfaction and body image of women suffering from breast cancer. 24 patients suffering from breast cancer was selected from among the cancer sufferers hospitalized in Shohaday-e Tajrish Hospital who were then assigned to the experimental and control groups. The experimental group underwent twelve 90-minute sessions of sexual skills training. Results of covariance analysis indicated that sexual skills’ training improves the sexual satisfaction.
