AbstractSustainability assessment is recognized as a powerful decision support tool that promotes actions toward sustainable development, cultivates social learning and leads to a shift in sustainability knowledge and views. The Learning Factory as a new concept for both academic and industrial learning can help to operationalize assessment tools and close the gap between academia and industry.
