AbstractThis paper acquaints readers with the sub-results of the research survey, which was primarily devoted to the issue of acquiring pre-numerical imaginations of children with hearing impairment in pre-school age in the Czech Republic. In addition to the established time, the extent of their hearing loss, or type of a compensation aid, the indispensible factor affecting the level of pre- mathematical imagination of children is family environment and the communication mode which is either used in its natural way or selected by the parents of the child.
