AbstractMore and more web servers adopt multi-core CPUs to improve performance because of the development of multi-core technology. However, web applications couldn’t exploit the potential of multi-core web server efficiently because of traditional processing algorithm of requests and scheduling strategies of threads in O/S. In this paper, a new web-based application optimization model was proposed, which could classify and schedule the dynamic requests and static requests on scheduling core, and process the dynamic requests on the other cores.
