AbstractAntiphospholipid antibodies are frequently found in patients with HIV infection mainly in advanced forms of disease. Despite its elevated prevalence the association with thrombotic events is rare.The author present a clinical case of a HIV patient in which the frist manifestation of the disease was a pulmonary embolism.Rev Port Pneumol 2005; XI (4): 407-41
