AbstractThis paper addresses the complex reality of the Arabic Language and the related lingering problems which appear on the Arabic cultural scene which include; the interaction of Arabic with foreign languages, the dominance of colloquial Arabic over the accepted standard practice and poor curricula presentation. It further identifies and addresses the historical component of such problems.
