AbstractThe main focus of this study is to measure the psychometric properties of the Tamil OLBI. Current study inspected the factor structure and measurement invariance of the Tamil OLBI across different occupational groups. The psychometric properties of Tamil OLBI were inspected with the help of Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Internal Consistency and Reliability and Construct Validity. Result shows that two factor model gained an acceptable data which is fit for both samples compared with single factor model. In total, this study proposes that the Tamil OLBI is a strong instrument for the estimation of burnout in different occupational contexts
