AbstractThe paper is focused on the method of teaching of logistics by using simulation methods. The aim is to describe a new way of teaching by using simulation software with a practical example. The main part of this article consists of a description of an actual application in education including graphic illustrations of work in the simulation software Witness and Captivate. In conclusion, the authors point out the benefits of learning by using simulation software for students of logistics and possibilities of applying their gained knowledge in business practice
